An excellent depiction of what being an AFOL is, written by Luís Baixinho in his blog, Legoficina dos Baixinhos (with a prmanent link on the right, over there ;)). It's in Portuguese, sorry, but soon I'll translate it into English.

Forte Branco

Since there are those who visit this so called blog without being AFOLs but like great LEGO creations, here's a fort that's been built for II TOMARLEGO, coming in June. It's by LBaixinho, member of Comunidade 0937, and author of the blog Legoficina dos Baixinhos, with the link right there, on the right. The picture is the link for Brickshelf.
